LIONSROCK reopens

21.9.2020

LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary is happy to announce that we have opened for day visitors.

Come and enjoy a guided sanctuary tour with the whole family or simply indulge in a meal at our onsite restaurant.

We are taking every precaution currently to ensure the safety of our visitors, staff, and animals. All government regulations are being strictly adhered to.

Please note booking is essential for all activities.

Sanctuary Tour - will give you a closer view of our rescued big cats with a species-appropriate forever home. These natural surroundings invite visitors to spend time enjoying the flora and fauna, while observing the rescued big cats relaxing in the safety of their enclosures or enjoying their enrichment as well as the game species which freely roam the area, including wildebeest, ostrich, springbok, impala, blesbok, waterbuck and zebra. We also have a wide variety of birdlife.

While visitors are enjoying your tour, you will learn many interesting facts about animal welfare and environmental protection from our guides, as well as more about the background of the rescued big cats.
